In all Visegrad countries there have been artist run initiatives, that are a kind of laboratory for new art forms. The beginning of this kind of activities was associated with conceptual art (in the 70s). The aim of the Project is to organize a meeting and to intensify the cooperation between the ARIs (Artist Run Initiatives) from Visegrad countries as well as to collect materials for further research on ephemeral art.
The event comprises of presentations of the documentation of the artist run galleries, performance art shows, as well as a Symposium and discussion panel and a publication.

As part of the project there will be 2 performance art nights by invited artists from Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.

Art historians from 4 Visegrad countries that are engaged in ephemeral art will present their papers on the history of ephemeral art institutions in their countries.
