The art market recently has been expanded, centered around Institutional galleries and commercial galleries. The art market, which supposed to be based on an artistic theory that established with art works and its originality, is replaced with field of marketing that conceals otherness of judgments and blinds eyes seeing arts. When rising of the price be defined as the increase in value of the art, it contains the concern that 'the authenticity of art' can be distorted. Therefore at this time, Artistic values connecting person-to-person, such as the truth, vocation, labor, relationships and connectedness, are isolated or concealed. Shouldn't we all need to look back the potential creativity of Art itself seriously and unconstrainedly?



NAME OF THE FATHER? NAME OF THE MOTHER! is the network that artists hug with their body and communicate with their artworks by sharing their self-perception and different experience. As a local community, we hope to have a chance to examine the possibility of non-profit activities and local arts, and to explore the validity of the artistic value, through 'non-profit exhibition space' which will be exchanged between Lodz and Incheon.
